Microsoft is likely to unveil its next gaming console at the company’s upcoming investor meeting on September 16, with the name likely to be chosen from the papas, the Wall Street Journal reported.
The report, citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter, said Microsoft has been working on the name for some time, and the company has been talking to “a large number of developers and publishers” about it.
“There is nothing out there that is a complete name,” one of the sources said.
Microsoft’s next gaming system could be named ‘Papa’s games’, the WSJ reports.

It did not name the console or the games it could be based on, or whether it would have a dedicated gaming controller.
Microsoft has been under pressure to reveal a name for its next console since the publication of a leaked slide from the company showing a game that looks like the Xbox One X.
Last week, Microsoft said it had “made some improvements” to its design of the next Xbox.
Microsoft, which has sold about 60 million Xbox Ones, is likely planning to release a new console at some point in the next three years.
