A few of the biggest games that are currently on sale are Call of Duty: Ghosts, Halo 5: Guardians, and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.
It’s worth noting that this is the first time we’ve seen Call of Dutys first two titles on sale at once, so expect a little more of a wait in some cases.
We’ll update this post as more information becomes available.
The first of the new games to hit shelves is Call of the Dead, which was announced earlier this year.
The game is slated to launch on September 21.
The price of the game is set at $39.99, but we’re expecting a significant jump when it comes to digital distribution.
We’re hoping to see a substantial amount of digital sales on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but that may take longer than we’ve previously thought.
We’ve also heard that a “first wave” of the PS3 version of the title will also be arriving on September 23.
The PlayStation 4 version of Call of War has also been confirmed to launch in 2018, but it is still unclear what the first wave will look like.
The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Call Of The Dead will have a separate release date, so we can expect to see those launch sometime in early 2019.
Finally, we have Borderlands: Pre-Sided, which has been on sale for nearly a year now, but is now available for PC.
The digital version of Borderlands: Black Mesa is set to launch later this year, and the game will include a free update for players who purchase the title on PlayStation Plus.
It will be a welcome addition to any PC gamer’s library, but there are still a lot of questions left unanswered.
For now, you can expect Call of duty: Ghosts to remain a $49.99 game for PC and PlayStation 4, but expect that price to increase after a free-to-play update rolls out in 2018.
Halo 5 will remain on sale indefinitely, while the PS5 version will see a “limited” rollout this year and a “pre-order” release this summer.
Borderlands: War Chest is set for a “large” launch in September, with the full version of both games available in the “coming months.”
If you’re looking to get the most out of your PC, we highly recommend getting Borderlands: the Pre-sequel for $49, while Call of Destiny: The Fall of Reach for $19.99.
We hope to see more games hitting the shelves in 2018 as Call of Doom: The Wounded, Borderlands: Shadowgrounds, and Call of Cthulhu: The Darkening Sky all hit shelves, and Halo 5 remains one of our favorite games of all time.
We can’t wait to see what the next year brings.
